No matter what time of year you visit, there’s always something to see at our property, located in the Goose Creek area. Winter residents include arctic hares, snowy owls, and arctic foxes. They may enjoy the snow but you can stay cozy indoors thanks to our warming wood stove. Relaxing by the glowing fire on a clear winter’s night, you’ll gain a new appreciation for the snowy season!
In the warmer months, the Creek comes alive with birdsong as hundreds of rare species flock to the area. Have your camera handy to snap the perfect shot of a Pine Grosbeak, a White-Faced Ibis, or a Ferruginous Hawk.
But it’s not just the daytime visitors that are camera-ready. Once the sun goes down, remember to look up - our guests are often treated to a dazzling light show courtesy of the breathtaking Northern Lights. The best time to see this phenomenon is late winter, around February and March.
